Charles Baumberger

Charles H. Baumberger is a partner and co-founder of Rossman Baumberger Reboso & Spier, Miami, Florida. As one of South Florida’s most experienced trial lawyers, he co-founded the firm more than 35 years ago. As one of the region’s go-to attorneys for personal injury cases, he has obtained a long list of substantial recoveries for clients, including numerous multimillion-dollar jury awards and settlements. Mr. Baumberger has extensive experience in the entire gamut of personal injury-related claims varying from medical malpractice to defective products to railroad cases. Revered for his tenacity, he is well-known for taking on and prevailing in complex negligence cases that usually discourage other attorneys. Throughout his career, Mr. Baumberger has been a leader in defending the rights of railroad workers. Notably, he has been widely recognized by various railroad unions. He has been chosen as the Designated Legal Counsel by multiple unions, including UTU, TCU, and IBEW. In preparation for his career, Mr. Baumberger completed his undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee. Subsequently, he obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida College of Law, Gainesville, Florida. Admitted to practice in Florida, Mr. Baumberger represents clients before the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit. Certified as a Civil Trial Specialist, he is a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, American College of Trial Lawyers, and the International Society of Barristers. An Advocate of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Mr. Baumberger is a member of the American Bar Association, Academy of Railway Labor Attorneys, Miami-Dade Justice Association, American Association for Justice, and the Southern Trial Lawyers Association. As a leading attorney in his field, Mr. Baumberger has written for publications including Trial Magazine and authored a key chapter on compelling the attendance of witnesses and the production of evidence in Florida Civil Trial Practice.
