Dale K. Galipo

Dale K. Galipo is an accomplished attorney with a distinguished career specializing in personal injury cases, criminal law, and civil rights cases, particularly those involving police misconduct. Mr. Galipo grew up in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio, and attended Orange High School. He obtained a degree in business administration from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Mr. Galipo earned his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in 1984. He was admitted to practice law by The State Bar of California in 1989. Mr. Galipo founded The Law Offices of Dale K. Galipo in 1991, focusing on personal injury cases. He gained a reputation for obtaining multi-million-dollar jury verdicts in personal injury cases. During the 1990s, Mr. Galipo also handled criminal cases, earning the nickname "The Strikes Man" for multiple jury acquittals in "three strikes" cases. His impressive track record in criminal law included achieving around a 90% success rate in criminal trials. In 2002, Mr. Galipo shifted his focus to civil rights cases involving police misconduct, handling cases related to excessive force, jail conditions, false arrest, denial of medical care, and sexual misconduct.  Mr. Galipo received the Defender of the Constitution Award from the Inland Empire Chapter of the Federal Bar Association in 2012. He was honored as the namesake of the MLK Award at the UC Davis School of Law. In his legal career, Mr. Galipo has secured over $500 million in verdicts and settlements for clients. He is a Fellow of The American College of Trial Lawyers and an active member of The Inner Circle of Advocates. Mr. Galipo has been recognized with prestigious awards, including CAALA 2020 Trial Lawyer of the Year and CAOC 2020 Consumer Attorney of the Year. Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Galipo enjoys music and dancing. In his younger years, he pursued a career as a professional dancer.
