Patrick J. D'Arcy is the founding attorney of Patrick J. D'Arcy, APLC, Irvine, California. Mr. D'Arcy, a skilled lawyer, received his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center in 2006. With a focus on real estate, business litigation, and defamation cases, he started his practice in 2010 after working at a large law firm. He is licensed to practice in California and represents clients in various courts, including the U.S. District Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals. Mr. D’Arcy is a member of the State Bar of California and a licensed Real Estate Broker with the California Department of Real Estate. He has also held over 30 state licenses in the Title Insurance Industry and introduced the RESPA-compliant shared services company in 1997. Throughout his career, Mr. D'Arcy has also handled matters before Complex Court, where time-consuming and complicated cases wind up.

Mr. D'Arcy and his co-counsel achieved a significant victory on February 23, 2022, in Complex Court. The lawsuit consolidated five other cases into one, making it one of the most significant legal wins in California for the year. The client had to defend millions in claims due to the size of the estate. The case involved multiple actions, including a probate action involving feuding siblings, a defamation action, and other petitions. Mr. D'Arcy successfully defeated the anti-SLAPP and the appeal of the defamation action. The case had over 4,400 exhibits, and phase 2 lasted 17 days, during which time Mr. D'Arcy cross-examined the main witness. The team was able to reverse findings of financial elder abuse, undue influence, breach of fiduciary duty, and potential attorney's fees. The client had previously dismissed their previous attorneys and hired Mr. D'Arcy and his co-counsel for phase 2.

Mr. D'Arcy has achieved notable victories in his legal career, such as successfully defending a lender and its officers, investors, and employees against a plaintiff who aimed to cancel the loan. During the trial, Mr. D'Arcy dismissed 17 out of the 20 claims and 14 out of 16 defendants. He then used a 631.8 motion to argue that the plaintiff failed to prove their case, and the court ultimately granted the motion and dismissed the case in September 2022. In another case, Mr. D'Arcy represented a lender who faced a temporary restraining order (TRO) from a borrower seeking to stop the foreclosure. Despite the defendant bringing another TRO, Mr. D'Arcy also managed to defeat it. Eventually, he persuaded the defendant to dismiss the lawsuit, all within a few months. Mr. D'Arcy is a skilled trial lawyer who has also achieved success in settling cases. One of his accomplishments was representing a painting contractor and securing a settlement of $1.3 million. He also obtained approval from the City of Los Angeles to take control of a private road leading to the Beverly Hills Post Office, which paved the way for the construction of a $25 million home.

Mr. D'Arcy dedicated eight years of his time to volunteering for the Orange County Indigent Defense Panel, an organization of about twenty lawyers that assisted the poorest residents of Orange County who did not qualify for a public defender but could not afford to pay a lawyer at the standard rates. He also served as the president of the Orange County Quasi-Indigent Defense Panel, which provided free to low-cost legal representation to the poor. Honored by Super Lawyers (2020 - 2023), Mr. D'Arcy holds a 9.1 Superb Rating from AVVO. Named to Top Attorneys of North America from 2018 to 2019, Mr. D'Arcy is a fierce litigator.
