Michael Levine
Michael Levine, Esq., is the managing partner of Rappaport, Glass, Levine, & Zullo LLP (RGLZ), New York, New York. Revered as a Go Getter, he has the rare combination of experience and tenacity to garner the best possible result for his clients. With over 33 years of experience, he practices personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability accidents, construction accidents, and railroad and subway accidents, among others. In preparation for his career, Mr. Levine earned his Juris Doctor from the Walter F. George School of Law from Mercer University in 1983. Admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, Mr. Levine represents clients before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. A member of the New York State Bar Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association, where he serves on the Grievance Committee and Judicial Screening Committee, Mr. Levine is a member of the American Association of Justice and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association (NYSTLA). A current member of the Executive Board of NYSTLA, he was its past President. Well-known for his expertise, Mr. Levine is a frequent lecturer in motor vehicle accidents, premises liability accidents, construction accident litigation, railroad, and subway accidents, and trial preparation and tactics. He has spoken before the New York State Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Institute, and the Suffolk County Bar Association. For 12 years, Mr. Levine also served as the elected mayor of his village, Old Field, New York. Recognized as one of New York’s Preeminent Lawyers in the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register since 2005, he has been recognized as one of the top attorneys in the New York metro area and as a Super Lawyer by New York Magazine since 2010. Honored as the “Man of the Year” of United Cerebral Palsy of Suffolk County in 2013, Mr. Levine was inducted into his high school’s Athletic Hall of Fame. Passionate about giving back to his community, Mr. Levine serves on the Board of Directors of United Cerebral Palsy of Suffolk County and the Rev for Dev Foundation and is the past President of the Three Village Tennis Club. An avid rider of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, he is also known as Motorcycle Mike, Esq. Mr. Levine has also garnered applause for his contributions to charitable causes by the motorcycle community.
