Michael Mallery
Michael P. Mallery is the founding attorney of the Law Office of Michael P. Mallery, Arroyo Grande, California. Mr. Mallery, a skilled attorney specializing in business labor and employment law, was also the Lead Counsel for Gerawan Farming, Inc. This family-owned business is the largest grower in the nation of peaches, plums, and nectarines and is also one of the biggest employers in Fresno County. During his career, Mr. Mallery dedicated himself to resolving complex legal issues. Additionally, he has been teaching Remedies and Civil Litigation as an Adjunct Professor of Law at San Joaquin College of Law for over 15 years. He has also served as Judge Pro-Tem for the Fresno County Superior Court, Juvenile Court.
He prepared for his career by completing a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science at the University of California, Davis, in 1981. In 1984, he obtained his Juris Doctor from the McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific. He is authorized to practice law in California and represents clients in the United States District Court, Northern District, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He is associated with the Fresno County Bar Association, the State Bar of California, and the Northern California Association of Defense Counsel (Director from 1998 to 2001). He was chosen by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel (NADC) to be a member of the Nation's Top One Percent in 2015. Members are chosen through a thorough vetting process by a research team, selected by a blue-ribbon panel of attorneys, and approved by a Judicial Review Board. Only the top one percent of attorneys in the United States are given membership in NADC. Additionally, he received recognition from Super Lawyers Northern California from 2006 to 2010 and has an AV Peer Rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
